Military related plates are just as they seem, they are license plates that you would have if you are a part of the military. Different branches of the military have different wording across the bottom. Any military plate will have the same design that a regular license plate will have excapt for the wording on the bottom. The branches of military that can be seen on the bottom of a plate are national guard, marine corps league, combat wounded veteran, veteran, and operation iraqui freedom.

The combat wounded veteran license plate was issued to any veteran who was awarded the purple heart.

Issued on July 14, 2005 the operation iraqi freedom license plate could be obtained by any person who is a veteran of the liberation oroccupation of Iraq. Someone would apply for this plate by completing Form MV-150.
